Learning Teams Workshops PDF Print E-mail

This workshop is designed to improve productivity and quality of work life of teams or groups responsible for a particular service or task.

The workshop is designed based on the outcomes of a diagnosis exercise conducted by MoDA®. The diagnosis includes: a) team productivity; b) commitment to the same vision and implementation strategy; c) internal work dynamics; d) problem solving and decision making mechanisms; e) re-visioning mechanisms; f) learning attitudes and skills.

Typically, the general objectives of the workshop are:

  • Increase awareness of team dynamics characteristics: enhancing and limiting behaviors;
  • Ensure goodness of fit between tasks and individual competencies;
  • Apply result-based management and team-work techniques;
  • Improve use of feedback as a leadership and motivation tool;
  • Strengthen conflict management skills;
  • Install a learning mechanism.

Significant emphasis is placed on developing the emotional intelligence of the team.

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator for Teams (MBTI) and the Integrated Team-Work and Support Practices Inventory (TSPI) provide data to anchor learning activities. The MBTI helps in analyzing and managing the collective personality of the team or group. The Integrated TSPI, developed by MoDA®, is a 360° feedback inventory that assesses team’s clarity of vision, communication patterns, leadership style, client service, and mutual support practices.
